We are a multi-disclipinary yoga studio offering a variety of different services that include Ayurvedic consultation, massage and Thai massage therapy, prenatal yoga and yoga for kids as well as a retail space. Upcoming Workshop: The Respiratory System: Inhale, Exhale, and Breathe with Ease

"Breathing is synonymous with life."

Join Cecelia Rice for a workshop all about the breath: A guided sequence of mindful movements and extended periods of supported stillness targeting the 3 areas of the body which participate in "Breathing Easily."  

  • The Diaphragm
  • Intercostal Muscles
  • The Thoracic Spine


This practice promotes a free flowing breath and increased lung capacity through increased strength, opening and flexibility of the entire Respiratory System. We will practice Pranayama -specific breathing techniques which will assist the release of deeply held tensions which in turn enables the breath cycle to nurture daily repair, movement and thinking We will use bolsters, blankets and blocks in a fashion that will allow your whole body to dissolve physical and mental tension, relax deeply, and open the 3 areas to receive the breath.

About the instructor: Cecelia is a 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher. She has worked in the field of the Healing Arts since 1987 while enjoying a career as an interior designer and artist. She is a “Relax and Renew” Trainer, an Intuitive and is certified in the energy healing modalities of Healing Touch, Reiki, The Yogic Breath and Journey to the Self/Way of the Healer.


She describes her clients’ experience to Restorative Yoga to be luxurious and deeply restful. A shift of energy occurs within one’s “Stillpoint” that awakens the body’s innate healer which then creates authentic awareness and brings balance to one’s physical, mental and emotional body.

This 2.5 hour practice is not appropriate for those recovering from Thoracic surgery or have a breathing restriction such as emphysema. Please contact Cecelia at 757-560-2703 for information on a beneficial practice for these conditions or for further information or concerns.

Due to the nature of this workshop, it will be kept small so early registration is suggested.

Everything in our life is vibration. Everything we think, feel and do is vibration. Every desire has a vibratory pulse. Everything we express, the thoughts we don't express, the emotions that they create and we hold are vibrations. As it is said, thoughts are things. We will explore how to work with emotional energy consciously. We will consider What do you want to manifest in your life, knowing that what vibration you are holding consciously or unconsciously is being sent out and you will experience the impact of. What energy you send out you WILL receive back and experience the impact of.


All thoughts have an impact on the cellular body. We want to expand light within the body mind to bring healing all the way down to cellular level.
We will explore Breathwork to work with emotional energy and the law of vibration. And then transition into meditation. The space between the breaths. The space between the thoughts to expand into the meditative state to harness and expand the pure energy that is available and channel it into intentionality.

Restorative Barratt Breathwork - A Workshop Combining Hatha Yoga, Breathwork, and Meditation

This workshop is going to be for those who are newer to The Barratt Breathwork model - this is NOT a pranayama Class. This is a Process designed to probe the system for breathing flaws and allow the holding patterns to release through the breath itself. We will be focusing on the Foundation of this approach. You will be leaving this workshop with specifics on how to free the breath in a way that is unique for you.

Modern scientific research demonstrates what Eastern traditions have known for centuries. When we breathe effectively, we create optimum conditions for restoring overall health and well-being. Breathwork has been known to achieve remarkable results, including
