Elizabeth Sanderson, CMT 200RYT
Liz began her Yogic journey at 15, taking a series of classes at the Crystal-Lind Healing Center in Norfolk with Penny Haws. She continued with tapes and at home practices for the next few years, and then after graduating from Granby High School in 2002, she decided to take a couple of semesters of Ashtanga Yoga at TCC. While studying at TCC, she found a great space within MyYoga Spirit, where, under the instruction of Lisa Rapp, Liz fell in Love with Jivamukti Yoga and dedicated herself to developing her practice. She took the Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Program there, and in June 2008 received her 200 hour certification. Shortly thereafter, she began the Kali Ray Basics Tri Yoga teacher training program with Gabrielle Gerard-Jenks, which she completed in September 2010. Currently, she is a Basics Tri Yoga instructor and is working towards her Level One certification, in addition to beginning the Barratt Breathworks Facilitator Program in January 2011. Liz continues to work toward bringing a more diverse feel to her classes while broadening her own practice of Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation.
Liz is also a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist, she graduated from The Advanced Fuller School of Massage Therapy in 2007. Since that time she has been dedicated to increasing her knowledge of not only the physical body, but also its energetic fields and how to affect them in a natural and positive way.
