Stacey Lawlor

Stacey’s love of yoga stems from her deep commitment to connect with herself and those around her. Her practice began about 10 years ago when her twin sons were toddlers.    She fell in love with how completely different yoga was from any other form of fitness or movement she had ever participated in and how it helped her to learn to be present in every moment of her life both on and off of the mat. It is in that present moment that she is able to see the beauty and grace of every person she encounters.

Stacey has always had a love of working with young children. Over the past 25 years she has earned a BS in Education from Millersville University in Pennsylvania, been a swim instructor, pre-school, 2nd and 4th grade teacher in Virginia Beach and a stay at home mother to her now 12 year old twin sons. Last year she was very excited to earn her 200RYT Yoga Teacher training and Radiant Child Yoga certification so that she could combine her love and passion for yoga with her love of working with young children.

Stacey feels blessed each and every day to come to her mat and to share the joy of yoga with everyone in her life. She cherishes how yoga allows her to continue to open her heart a little more every day and to see the world with curiosity and wonder.
When she isn’t on her mat she can be found hanging out at a baseball field or a swimming pool cheering her boys on from the sidelines or taking long walks and bike rides with her husband.
